Hi
I've been thinking about the forum and ways to attract new members. How about a press release to the Northern Scot? I'm sure they would be only too glad to carry the story. This is the sort of thing they love! And how about putting notices in local shops? Again, I'm sure they would be only too willing to help out!

If it's okay with you I'll put out a press release to the P&J and the Northern Scot!

Elgin North Discussion Group
A local Bishopmill resident has set up a discussion group for the people of Elgin North. The forum is intended to share news and views of what's happening in Bishopmill and the surrounding area. Already, a discussion has taken place on the problem of underage drinking in the vicinity of Bishopmill Primary school and views are being sought regarding the Moray Wheels Youth Development Project and the fact that after four years there is still no sign of a skate park or bmx park. There is a dedicated area for the youth of Elgin North which, it is hoped, will soon give youngsters a chance to share their news and views on living in the area.
The forum's newest member, Norma Anderson of Bishopmill, said "This is an excellent idea and gives people of all ages a chance to keep in touch with what is going on in the local area. I hope people will at least have a look at the site and then decide to join."
